Shelter #4: Back Skerrs, 2014-
Information
Date: 6 August 2014
Location: Back Skerrs, Lindisfarne
Category: (Timeline)
Repaired in a similar fashion to before, except with an even more certifiably resilient roof. Now sanctioned by Natural England, the structure is also the focal point of a series of art interventions, films, exhibitions and performances as part of the overall Arts Council-funded Shelter project – none of which detract from or interfere with its long-established collective ethos and enthusiastic use by locals and visitors for play, creativity and contemplation.
